Yinfei Wang
Yinfei Wang made his public debut at the age of seven in the Shanghai Concert Hall and has since performed extensively across China, Singapore, Spain, Australia, and the United States. He is a top prizewinner of numerous national and international piano competitions, including the Washington International, Gershwin, Five Towns, Jacob Flier, and Hartford Chopin competitions. As a soloist, Mr. Wang has appeared with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and the Manhattan School of Music Symphony Orchestra under the batons of conductors such as Vladimir Feltsman and Philippe Entremont.
A passionate chamber musician, Mr. Wang has been featured in renowned festivals and concert series such as The Perlman Music Program, PianoSummer at New Paltz, Summer Concerts at NEC in Boston, Walnut Hill Music Festival, and Concerts on the Slope in New York. He has collaborated with distinguished artists including Thomas Hill, Nai-Yuan Hu, Hsin-Yun Huang, Nicholas Kitchen, Qianqian Li, Mo Mo, Kenneth Radnofsky, Nathan Vickery, and Cong Wu. His performances are also featured on the Shanghai Conservatory of Music: Seventieth Anniversary Gala Album.
As a dedicated educator, Mr. Wang has worked with students of diverse ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds. His students have earned accolades in competitions such as the Bay State Piano Contest, Crescendo, Gershwin, Hartford Chopin, PianoTexas Concerto Competition, and the Steinway Society of Massachusetts Piano Competition. He has served as an adjudicator for events including the Gershwin International Piano Competition, Irvine Music Competition, and Fou Tsong Concerto Competition. His students have gone on to study at prestigious institutions such as the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, SUNY Purchase, Northwestern University, Mannes School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, and the pre-college divisions of Juilliard and MSM.
Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the Manhattan School of Music. His principal teachers include Phillip Kawin, Yanxin Chen, Christopher Zhong, and Chongfang Zhang. He has also performed in masterclasses for renowned pianists such as Hung-Kuan Chen, Nikolai Demidenko, Vladimir Feltsman, Stephen Hough, Lang Lang, Robert Levin, Russell Sherman, and Fou Tsong.
王寅飞
出生于上海,旅美钢琴家王寅飞的琴声已经传遍了世界各地。《波士顿音讯》(The Boston Musical Intelligencer)这样评价他演奏的拉威尔《夜之幽灵》组曲:“如魔法般的演奏效果,让人联想到白银、流水、钟声、冰、空气、黑暗大地等元素,很好地诠释出了拉威尔对伯特兰诗歌的敬意。”
王寅飞曾作为独奏与Hudson Valley爱乐、曼哈顿音乐学院交响乐团,著名钢琴家、指挥家 Vladimir Feltsman以及Phillipe Entremont等合作演出钢琴协奏曲,与著名小提琴家Nicholas Kitchen、胡乃元,单簧管演奏家Thomas Hill,萨克斯风演奏家Kenneth Radnofsky等合作演奏室内乐,演出足迹遍布中国、新加坡、澳大利亚、西班牙、英国和美国各地。此外作为波士顿地区胡桃山音乐节的常客,连续多年受邀演奏独奏音乐会和室内乐音乐会,屡获好评。
4岁习琴,7岁在上海音乐厅首次登台演出,之后于上海音乐学院附小,附中及大学钢琴系学习,先后师从马崇芬,张崇芳,黄硕,周帆,钟听,陈彦新老师,期间参与录制了上海音乐学院建校70周年纪念唱片。此外还受到陈宏宽,陈必先,郎朗,刘孟捷,傅聪,Stephen Hough,Robert Levin, Russell Sherman等等诸多大师指导。
多次在国际及国内钢琴⽐比赛中获奖,其中包括1992年上海市青少年钢琴比赛第⼆名,同年上海市青少年海内外钢琴邀请赛第⼀名,2005年山德杯海峡两岸钢琴比赛第三名,2009年Jacob Flier钢琴比赛第⼀名,2011年Miecyslaw Munz钢琴奖学金比赛优胜奖,2011纪念丁善德诞辰100周年钢琴比赛第⼀ 名,2012年纽约Five Towns钢琴比赛第二名,2014年华盛顿国际钢琴比赛决赛奖,2015年第二届格什温国际钢琴比赛第一名,2016年康奈狄格州帕德雷夫斯基国际钢琴比赛第一名等,此外还多次在曼哈顿室内乐比赛获得优胜。
上海音乐学院钢琴演奏学士学位,曼哈顿音乐学院钢琴演奏硕士、博士学位及专业演奏文凭,师从钢琴家Phillip Kawin。攻读博士学位期间在曼哈顿音乐学院担任钢琴必修与选修课教学工作,2023年参与共同创立纽约Tutti Music and Arts(途艺)音乐学校,所教学生多在美国青少年钢琴比赛中获奖,以及考入曼哈顿音乐学院,西北大学音乐学院,曼尼斯音乐学院,纽约州立大学等院校钢琴系,以及曼哈顿音乐学院和朱莉亚音乐学院预科。
